Managing Roles and Permissions

Every user is assigned one role. Each role comes with a set of default permissions, plus optional toggles.

RadiologistView studies, write and sign reports
TechnologistManage imaging workflow, acquire images

When inviting or editing a user, you can toggle additional permissions:

  • Signing Authority (Radiologist) — enables final report signing. Without this, a radiologist can only sign as preliminary.
  • Template Management — allows creating and editing report templates
  • Emergency Access — enables Break Glass emergency access for time-limited elevated permissions
  1. Go to Settings > Team
  2. Click the actions menu on the team member
  3. Select Edit Member
  4. Change the Role dropdown
  5. Adjust permission toggles as needed
  6. Click Save

In the Team list, icons next to a member’s name indicate special permissions:

  • Pen icon — Signing Authority
  • Document icon — Template Management
  • Shield icon — Emergency Access
