Viewing Images
Bormell supports two image viewers. Your preference is set in Settings > Viewer.
OHIF Viewer (Default)
Section titled “OHIF Viewer (Default)”The OHIF Viewer is a web-based DICOM viewer that opens in a new browser tab. No installation required.
To launch:
- Find a study in the Studies page or Worklist
- Click Launch Viewer
- A new tab opens with the full image viewer
Viewer Controls

OsiriX (macOS Only)
Section titled “OsiriX (macOS Only)”If you use a Mac, you can switch to OsiriX, a native DICOM viewer application.
- Go to Settings > Viewer
- Select OsiriX
- When you click Launch Viewer, the study will open in OsiriX instead
